Background: Siri Seeds is a multi-million dollar seed manufacturing and distribution company with its sales operations spread across India, On average they receive 100,000 orders from 3,000+ dealers in a year and it has become cumbersome for the management to approve, track and dispatch received orders and manage inventory efficiently.
Sales Process: Like most of the businesses, Siri seeds have a unique sales process which starts from receiving an order from their customer, upon receiving based on the credit limit and inventory availability, the received order shall be approved partially or completely. On every approval received against an order, the supply chain team shall accommodate full dispatch or generate multiple partial dispatches optimizing inventory. An invoice shall be raised against each dispatch and all such invoices raised against an order received have to be reconciled. This workflow has to be tailored and accommodated into the proposed order-to-cash solution
